Op Art

This deceiving image was made by Bridget Riley and is called Fission. Made in 1963 this image portrays the feeling of movement. With the well placed circled, slanted in different ways and sizes. This is called Op- Art which means shapes, lines and color are manipulated in way =s to stimulate the eye into believing it perceives movement. The movement in the image is of each side hoovering toward the center almost as if its two huge cylinders going in a circle and meeting in the middle.
